Series Spotlight - Deborah Azzopardi - Small Size Limited Edition Prints
Deborah Azzopardi has had a four-decade long career of creating inviting and iconic Pop Art and is known as the UK’s answer to Roy Lichtenstein. Although Pop Art is known for its flat cartoon-like imagery, her artworks are anything but flat; they are joyful and colourful, referential, and relatable. There is no wider deep philosophical subtext to her works, just snapshots into snippets of a more colourful, simpler life.
Deborah works in acrylic, usually on board or paper, with her sense of mischief and humour inspiring much of her subject matter. She has reached worldwide recognition with her iconic ‘Sshh’, pictured in the video below.
In celebration of her 40th anniversary, we're introducing a special collection of Azzopardi's much-loved artworks in small sizes, each limited to 250. Printed on Hahnemuhle paper using our exclusive Gouttelette® process; these are of exceptional quality with remarkable colour saturation and continuous tonal characteristics. Each edition is hand numbered, stamped and accompanied by a certificate signed by Deborah Azzopardi herself.
